Young People in care

  • We run a variety of courses, workshops and mentoring for both young people in care and care leavers.

  • We run a variety of services for individuals that have left care. We do not have an act restriction with this and we aim to reach individuals who are still requiring our services to develop new skills to cope.

  • We run courses on self development, managing difficult situations, enrichment and mindfulness workshops

Adult Industry Workers  

We also run workshops on developing life goals, aspirations, self appreciation and mentoring for those who work in the adult industry.

The 4 week program will include the following:

Content Justification for content Outcome 
Personal thinking and learning To enable the yp to think from multiple perspectives. Widening their perspectives. To gain knowledge on current affairs and to
Self awareness To explore the positives attributes that the yp’s have, looking at their strengths and discovering where these can be utilised To build confidence and self care
Managing complex situations YP’s will come across difficult situations and they may find it hard to deal with this. We will cover issues surrounding education, personal life and work. To build emotional resilience and coping strategies
What does the future hold To help the YP look to the future and start creating a plan with the use of what they have learnt about themselves Planning for various situations

This will be run over 4 weeks, with a 4 hour session per week and 1 hour at the end of each session for one to one discussions with the learners. We can deliver in Huddersfield at a venue that facilitates for unto 10 individuals. Or we can come along to your centre and deliver there.

We travel to various locations across the North of the UK. With day courses and workshops available throughout other locations if required.

Deliver in most of the areas in the North of the UK are covered by our funders. Deliver in areas external to these subsidised areas will incur a fee.
